Lights, Laughter, and Holiday Wonder Await!
Step into a world of twinkling lights, cozy moments, and holiday magic at Holiday Wonders at the Garden, presented by Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW). This Memphis holiday tradition transforms the Garden into a glowing winter wonderland filled with dazzling displays, festive theme nights, seasonal sips, and experiences for all ages.
New for 2026, Holiday Wonders expands into the Herb Garden with even more lights and festive surprises to explore. Wander through returning favorite Polar Passage in The Woodland, cozy up around glowing firetables, enjoy interactive play experiences, and grab dinner or a sweet treat from a rotating lineup of local food trucks.
Whether it’s a family outing, date night, or evening with friends, there’s plenty of holiday wonder waiting at the Garden.
Start the season under the lights! Santa makes his Holiday Wonders debut beneath the Northern Lights, ready for festive photos and a little extra cheer as we kick off another season at the Garden.
Cozy up around the glowing firepits for a night made for slowing down and soaking up the season. Toast marshmallows with s’mores kits available for purchase, sip something warm, and wander the lights between fireside stops.
Santa is spending his Sundays at the Garden! Stop by for a visit beneath the lights, share your wishlist, snap a festive photo, and find out if you’ve secured your spot on the nice list.
Holiday Wonders is going to the dogs! Bring your pup along for a stroll through the lights, festive photo ops, and a special visit with Santa. Leashes are a must and holiday attire encouraged. Good boys and girls are especially welcome.
Pull on your coziest pajamas and wander the twinkling trails. Plus don’t miss storytime sessions at 6 and 7 pm and an evening of holiday cheer, it’s the ultimate family night before the big holiday rush.
Calling all snow queens, ice princesses, and little royals! Wear your favorite crown or sparkliest attire and head to the Garden for an enchanted evening featuring special guests Elsa and Anna and plenty of opportunities for a royal photo.
Trade your mittens for a little tropical holiday spirit! Explore the Tropical Plant House, sip an island-inspired holiday drink, and enjoy a warm-weather twist on the season. Festive shirts encouraged. Mele Kalikimaka!
Tonight, you’re part of the light show! Break out the glow sticks, light-up sweaters, sparkling accessories, and anything else that shines. Then catch an LED hoop performance while the Garden glows around you.
The more, the merrier! Gather your favorite people and enjoy a night together under the lights with special advance-purchase pricing for groups of four to six.
Purchase four tickets for $48 for MBG Members or $60 for Non-Members. Add up to two additional tickets at the same discounted rate of $12 for MBG Members or $15 for Non-Members per ticket.
Discounted tickets are available in advance only. Additional tickets beyond six are available at the regular rate. Same-day tickets are $20 per person with no Friends & Family Night discount.
The tackier, the better! Celebrate National Ugly Sweater Day by pulling out your most over-the-top holiday knit and wearing it proudly through the lights. Tinsel, pom-poms, bells, blinking lights, and questionable color combinations are all welcome.
Keep the celebration going after Christmas with five final nights of Holiday Wonders. Wander the lights, cozy up around the firepits, toast marshmallows, sip seasonal drinks, and squeeze a little more sparkle out of 2026 before we ring in the new year.
Holiday Wonders tickets are sold by date and entry time. Entry times may sell out, so advance purchase is recommended.

Parking and entry for Holiday Wonders are through the Visitors Center. Parking is free. As needed, additional parking with shuttle service will be available.
Please have your digital or printed tickets ready when you arrive and enter during your selected entry window. Due to capacity limits, we may not be able to accommodate guests outside their reserved time.
Last entry is 7:30 pm, with the Garden closing at 8:30 pm.
December 18–23: Last entry is 8:30 pm, with the Garden closing at 9:30 pm.
Come hungry! Food trucks will be on-site nightly with a rotating lineup including Good Groceries Mobile Diner, Snowbirds Sweets & Treats, Hot-n-Heavy Dogs, Let’s Be Frank, and Halinka’s Polish Eatery.

Santa only visits Holiday Wonders on select evenings.
Catch him on Opening Night, November 27, at Paw-liday Wonders on December 10, and during Santa Sundays on December 6, 13, and 20.
Guests are welcome to take their own photos with Santa during their visit.
Pets are welcome only during Paw-liday Wonders on December 10. Pets are not permitted during other Holiday Wonders evenings.
Service animals are always welcome.
Holiday Wonders light displays are viewable from our main accessible pathways and are located within approximately 1/4 mile of the Visitors Center. Some activities take place in grassy areas, which may be soft or muddy.
A limited number of push wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask our admissions team about availability when you arrive.
Strollers and wagons are welcome at Holiday Wonders.
Groups of 20 or more receive $2 off per person.

Holiday Wonders is an outdoor experience and takes place in a variety of winter conditions.
If inclement weather requires us to cancel an evening, a decision will be made on the day of the event. Check Memphis Botanic Garden’s social media channels before your visit for event updates.
If your evening is canceled due to weather, your tickets may be rescheduled for another available night.
Guests are welcome to take photos and videos during Holiday Wonders for personal use. Don’t forget to capture your favorite glowing moments!
