From Shadow to Radiance: Jeannine Paul Art Exhibit

Meet the artist on Sunday, February 6, from 2-4 pm

Jeannine Paul was born in Paris, France, where her art education began. She’s traveled extensively and has painted many scenes captured by her mind’s eye during these travels. Jeannine paints mostly impressionist and expressionist landscapes in oil. She has won numerous awards in juried exhibits and has many of her paintings in private collections in the US and France.

“Love of nature, the outdoor beauty, and tranquility are the elements that become subjects of my landscape paintings. I like to experiment with different styles and take liberties, exaggerating the shapes and colors until my painting comes alive and bounces off the canvas. What I try to communicate in all my paintings is a sense of life and a beautiful moment. I want the onlooker to feel happy when viewing my artwork, take in the beauty of the place, and enjoy.”
