BLOOM: A Million Shades of Spring

March-May 2026

Spring begins at the Garden.

This spring, Memphis Botanic Garden bursts into color with BLOOM: A Million Shades of Spring, a new exhibition celebrating the beauty, joy, and renewal of the season.

Across our 96-acre Garden, more than one million blooms unfold in waves of color: dreamy cherry blossoms, sweeping tulip displays, and the iconic flowers of Southern spring.

Whether you’re strolling beneath cherry blossoms, wandering through fields of tulips, or soaking in the colors of late spring, no two visits will ever be the same.

Three Chapters of Spring

Cherry Blossoms

Enjoy a soft, Sakura-inspired stroll through some of the Garden’s most beloved paths, where clouds of pink blooms signal the arrival of spring.

The Tulip Showcase

Sweeping, curated displays totaling nearly one million tulips burst into color at the corner of Park & Cherry with the addition of the Dixon Gallery & Gardens’ offerings, making it one of the largest spring floral destinations in the United States.

Southern Delights

Azaleas, hydrangeas, magnolias, irises, roses, and more serve as the grand finale of Southern spring.

A Spring Exhibition in Full Color

Throughout the three-month celebration, visitors will enjoy:

  • Over one million blooms spread across the season
  • A seasonal experience that evolves weekly
