Join Ms. Kristen for Caterpillar Club summer edition! You and your little one will enjoy sunny days filled with fun games, crafts, and activities designed to help you make the most of summer in your own backyard. Together, you’ll explore the wonders of nature and create memories. 

Caterpillar Club is designed for parents (or grandparents, aunts, uncles, or nannies) to accompany their toddler or preschooler (ages 2-5) as they share stories, play games, create crafts, and explore the natural world. Led by Kristen Zemaitis, Youth Education Program Director, Caterpillar Club is one of the few preschool adventures in Memphis that gets your little one discovering nature, hands-on, in the great outdoors.

Caterpillar Club Summer Camp runs Monday, June 1 or July 6, through Friday, June 5 or June 6, from 10 am-12 pm.

Adventures in My Big Backyard

Kick off summer with a week of discovery in My Big Backyard! We’ll explore the plants and animals that call our own backyards home, digging into Wormville, buzzing through Pollinator Pass, and diving into hands-on activities, crafts, stories, and games. It’s curiosity, play, and nature all rolled into one unforgettable adventure.

Nature Detectives
July 6-10, 2026
10 am – 12 pm 
Calling all curious, nature-loving preschoolers! Who left that footprint? What’s that sound? Why do bees adore flowers? Spend the week sleuthing through the Garden as we crack nature’s coolest mysteries. Little detectives will dig, discover, and uncover clues all around them because every good mystery deserves a muddy answer.
