Memphis Botanic Garden is a gathering place for Mid-South horticultural clubs and organizations. If you are interested in learning more about gardening, horticulture, the environment, or want to meet others who share an interest in a specific type of plant or flower, please contact one of the following groups:

PLANT SOCIETIES AND GARDEN CLUBS

Become a Plant Society and Garden Club Partner!

Garden Clubs, plant societies, and environmental group partnerships support Memphis Botanic Garden’s education and horticulture programs, allowing us to continue to provide high quality programs and resources to the Mid-South community.

Garden Clubs

For Garden Clubs and other partner groups that meet during the daytime, an annual donation of $150 includes the following benefits:

  • This benefit includes one weekday daytime room rental per year that will accommodate up to 30 people with discounts on additional room use.
  • Includes one of our smaller rooms (will be assigned either the Water Garden Room, Library or 1/3 Goldsmith Room; value $1,500) that will accommodate up to 30 people.
  • Groups that would like a larger space (will be assigned either Goldsmith, Sara’s Place, or Hardin Hall; value $4,000) may pay an extra $250 room setup fee to upgrade.
  • Mon-Wed meetings preferred.
  • April and May will have limited availability.
  • Meetings can be scheduled in advance, but are subject to change if needed up to 3 months out.
  • Table linens can be provided for $10 per cloth rental fee.
  • Additional needs such as specialty color linens, A/V use, adding a stage, and food catering can be coordinated through the MBG Rentals Department
  • We ask for five minutes on agenda for an MBG staff member to welcome group and promote MBG membership and activities (we will have a form to collect individual emails for follow-up).

Discounted rates on Garden staff speaker fees and guided tours including MBG staff led, a tram tour seating seven, or a guided walking tour.

Member access to seasonal Plant Sales at the Garden.

If 100% of individual club members are MBG Members, groups can earn additional benefits and access.

Plant Societies

For Plant Societies and other partner groups that meet during the evening,  an annual donation of $500-$1000 includes the following benefits:

  • This benefit includes monthly access to a room rental that will accommodate up to 30 people with discounts on additional room use.
  • Includes one of our smaller rooms (will be assigned either the Water Garden Room, Library or 1/3 Goldsmith Room; value $1,500/month; $18,000/year) that will accommodate up to 30 people.
  • Mon-Wed meetings preferred.
  • April and May will have limited availability.
  • Due to Holiday Wonders at the Garden and other Rentals events, December will have very limited availability.
  • Meetings can be scheduled in advance, but are subject to change if needed up to 3 months out.
  • Table linens can be provided for $10 per cloth rental fee.
