The Hughes Art Show

“The Hughes Art Show promises to be a positive and uplifting experience for all viewers. Nashville artist Jane Hughes Coble will exhibit paintings of landscapes and people. She is inspired by scenes from her extensive travels and a lifelong love of beauty. Mississippi artist Anne Hughes Sayle presents a mixture of landscape paintings in oil, figurative work, horse racing scenes, fabric wall-hangings, patchwork pigs, and even angels. She is motivated to give the viewer a happy moment. Plus the meticulously detailed carvings of ducks, geese, and songbirds by Dr. Allen Hughes will be exhibited only at the artists’ reception. Dr. Hughes knows birds inside and out from doing taxidermy in his teens. He has won National Duck Stamp awards and other wildlife awards for his paintings and carvings.”

There will be a reception on October 26 from 4-6 pm.
