Jeannine Paul was born in Paris, France, where her artist education began. She attended classes at the Memphis College of Art intermittently from 1960-1989. She has traveled extensively and has painted many scenes captured by her mind’s eye during these travels. She paints mostly impressionist and expressionist landscapes and florals in oil as well as watercolor and collage. Jeannine has won numerous awards in juried exhibits and many of her paintings are in private collections in the U.S. and France.

“Love of nature, outdoor beauty, and tranquility are the elements that become subjects of my landscape paintings. I like to experiment with different styles and take liberties, exaggerating the shapes and colors until my paintings come alive and bounce off the canvas. What I try to communicate in all my paintings is a sense of life and a beautiful moment. I want the onlooker to feel happy and take in the beauty when viewing my artwork.” – Jeannine Paul

Jerry Ehrlich has a 50 year career in advertising, design, and performing arts. As CEO and Chief Creative Officer of two Memphis advertising agencies, his work has been the recipient of dozens of national and international creative awards for branding, film and video production… including an Emmy. Recently, he turned his creative energy into painting which is evidenced by a large body of work in a short period of time.

“I like to combine colors and textures in most of my paintings. I prefer not to focus on a theme or specific look to my work, but transfer ideas I have, in the moment, to the canvas. I approach painting like an advertising campaign, looking for the best artistic solution to appeal to the viewer with each painting. My goal is to surprise the viewer with a look and feel that’s not expected… but enjoyed. I didn’t study painting, so I don’t feel confined to rules, techniques and theories. I learn with the completion of each piece.” – Jerry Ehrlich
