Six Week Watercolor Painting Course and Critique with Fred Rawlinson

Two Sessions:
Mondays, June 3-July 8, 9:30 am-1:30 pm
Tuesdays, June 4-July 9, 9:30 am-1:30 pm 

Join an award-winning artist and explore the world of aesthetics, composition, design, and art history. The instructor will demonstrate a variety of watercolor techniques, and students will have plenty of opportunities to paint during class while under the instructor’s guidance. Gentle critiques will be offered at the end of the class to provide feedback. This class is aimed at intermediate and advanced students who have an already established knowledge of watercolor painting and are looking to develop their artistry. Please note that you will need to bring your own supplies, and it’s recommended to review the supply list before registering. Snacks and drinks are allowed (within reason) throughout the class.

• Intermediate to Advanced – This class will not be covering basics of watercolor and will be instead focusing on growing techinque. 

What to expect:

• You will learn a variety of watercolor techniques every class. 
• You’ll have time at the end of each class for gentle instructor critiques. 

What’s included in this class:

• Your cost covers entry to the Memphis Botanic Garden and six hours of instruction. 

Things to know:

• A supply list is required for this class, but some substitutions are allowed within similar reason.
