“As a person with bipolar, I use art as therapy. Art is a powerful tool and has the ability to change moods. I am compelled to paint, and the act of painting has a way of pulling me out of dark places. In my paintings, I like to use bright colors and my favorite shape, the circle. As I create these brightly colored paintings I find myself cheering up. I can only hope that these paintings fill the viewer with the joy that they give me.”
