Ever wondered why your hydrangeas never bloom? The answer might lie in when and how you’re pruning them. Join Robin Howell, curator of the Japanese and Asian gardens at the Memphis Botanic Garden, for an enlightening workshop on the unique pruning techniques and timing required for different types of hydrangeas.

This hands-on class includes outdoor demonstrations and plenty of walking, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Bring your own sharp pruners if you have them and practice using your own tools under expert guidance. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner, this class will help you unlock the secrets to vibrant, blooming hydrangeas!
