Pruning Essentials with Robin Howell

Join the curator of the Japanese & Asian Garden at MBG this March to learn the essentials of pruning. He will address choosing the correct tools and proper use and care of tools (including sharpening). Class begins with indoor instruction on tools and the timing and techniques for pruning. The rest of the class is hands-on pruning in the Garden with considerable walking, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Optional: Bring your own pruners if they need to be sharpened and/or to practice. Class size is limited, and spaces fill up quickly. $17 MBG Members/$29 Non-Members. Click to register by March 9 at noon.
