“These plein air paintings were made over two trips to France. On the first trip I was painting in Provence near Avignon. On the second trip, I attended an artist workshop in “Le Gers”, or Southwest France. From there, I made my way along the coastline to the port of Nice, where I caught the ferry to Corsica. The beautiful island of Corsica is part of France, but has a very different culture. I traveled alone and met many locals along the way.”
