Drop-In Nature Print Family Activity

Did you know that the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights were written with ink made from Oak galls? Most of our modern inks and dyes have botanical origins! Bring your creativity for some family-friendly eco-printing in My Big Backyard. We’ll explore a variety of flowers, fruits, and leaves to create patterns on notecards using natural dyes found right in your backyard. Cardstock will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any natural plant fiber (cotton, linen, watercolor paper, etc.) to experiment with.
