Let's Go to the Garden

March 11-15, 10 am-2 pm

Take advantage of Spring Break with a fun-filled week at the Garden. Use your imagination on Playhouse Lane, visit the Chicken Coop, go cloud watching in the Arboretum, enjoy the swings near the Delta Garden, or find a new book at the Little Free Library in My Big Backyard. Each day visitors can also enjoy a different self-guided activity for the family:

• Monday, March 11 – Let’s Go Play! Spend your first day of Spring Break at the Garden with a hunt for the colors of the rainbow.
• Tuesday, March 12 – Let’s Go Garden! It’s National Plant a Flower Day. Children can plant a flower seed to take home & watch bloom.
• Wednesday, March 13 – Let’s Go Inspect Insects! Ants & beetles & flies, oh my! Children can use a magnifier to spot bugs up close.
• Thursday, March 14 – Let’s Go Make a Mess! It’s National Pi Day. Join us in My Big Backyard for mud pie making on the Guest House patio.
• Friday, March 15 – Let’s Go Fly a Kite! Bring a kite & a picnic for some spring fun on our Great Lawn! 

No registration required. Free with Garden admission. This event is canceled if raining.
