Event Details

March 26, 10 am-5 pm.

Learn the ancient mystery of bonding metal and glass into a harmonious, colorful work of art. During this workshop, we will explore the basics of how to apply glass powder to copper pieces to add color to your metalwork for either jewelry or sculpture. If time permits, we will also discuss the differences between enameling on copper and silver.  Experience with enameling is not required for this class. We’ll cover all the basics, and attendees will leave class with several enameled pieces that can be used as pendants or earrings plus lots of inspiration and information to keep the creativity going!

All materials are provided, and all tools needed will be available for use in class. You are welcome to bring any of your own tools or enamels you might like to use in class. We do request that any enamels you bring from home be unleaded for the safety of everyone in the class. There will be a break for lunch. Bring your own sack lunch or order from Fratelli’s Cafe on-site.
