Bid on what you love, not who you know! Over 100 Mid-South artists are creating a collection of original, unsigned works…Incognito! The artwork will be on view in-person July 8-28 in our Visitors Center and Grand Hallway with online bidding open July 15-28. The event will culminate in a party with the artists on July 28 from 6-8 pm.

Attendees will mix & mingle with our Incognito artists at this exciting culmination of our annual art auction. Enjoy live music from Kenneth Jackson while you make your final bids on the diverse selection of artwork on the slate this year. Small bites & two drinks are included with each ticket. Don’t miss this unique event featuring one-of-a-kind pieces!

Do I have to go to the Party to participate in the auction?
No, all bidding is online. The party provides attendees with an opportunity to meet the Incognito artists while enjoying a fun night out at the Garden.
How do I access the online auction?
The link to the auction will be posted here on July 15 at 9 am. The auction will be live until July 28 at 7:30 pm.
How can I see the work in person?
The artwork will be on view in person at the Memphis Botanic Garden from July 8-28 during regular business hours, 9 am-6 pm. Please note the Garden will close early at 3 pm for Live at the Garden on July 12.
How will I know if I’ve won?
Winners will be notified by the auction system after bidding has closed.
How will I know if I’ve been outbid?
If a bidder is outbid they will receive a text message.
What is the starting bid & minimum bid increments?
For each item: Bidding starts at $50, bid increments must be at least $10. Each piece has a “Buy It Now” price of $300 which ends on July 28 at 7 pm.
What is “Buy It Now”?
Really want a piece of art or don’t want to bid? Up until July 28 at 7 pm, you can buy the piece for $300.
When does the auction start?
July 15 at 9 am
When does the auction end?
July 28 at 7:30 pm
Can I bid in-person?
All bidding is online. You can use your smartphone during your visit to the gallery to bid while you are at the Garden & during the Party.
How does payment work?
A credit/debit card is required to bid. All payments are automatically processed after a Buy It Now or at the conclusion of the auction.
