Holiday Helper Gnomes with Becky Zee

This festive little guy is sure to bring the spirit of the season into your heart and your home! In this class you will learn how to build your very own gnome from a simple slab of clay and some extra bits and pieces. You will also learn how to make candy canes, holly leaves, and whatever else your gnome needs to “get festive” (requests taken!). After you are done, you’ll be provided with all the holiday-themed clay paints you’ll need to add those finishing touches. 

All skill levels are welcome. Kids are welcome, with a recommended minimum age of 12. All creations will be given a food-safe, dishwasher-proof clear glaze and fired off site. Finished gnomes will be brought back to MBG for pickup two weeks after the class. Class fee includes all materials and use of any tools needed to bring your creation to life. All YOU need to bring is your imagination and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

What to expect: 

• You will learn to create a clay gnome and any accessories you would like. 
• You will have clay paints to decorate your gnome and accessories with.

Things to know: 

• Children 12 years old and above are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.   
• The finished pieces will be returned to MBG for pickup after two weeks and attendees will be notified by the instructor. 
• Please make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty with clay or paint.
