From the artist: “My delight is in color and light shed upon the day. Traveling Europe I had the opportunity to view many of the old masters, an experience that was to influence my career. I am self-taught but began to study with Fred Rawlinson in 2003. Others I have studied with are Lain Stewart, Gerald Brommer, and Paul Jackson.”

Wanda is an active and creative member of the Memphis Germantown Art League and has participated in many of the organization’s exhibitions. In March 2019, she had a solo show at Brooks Museum. Along with other MGAL members she has exhibited at Ned R. McWherter Cultural Art Center in Jackson and was invited to tour Graceland, an opportunity that gave her inspiration for several new paintings. Viewers will enjoy Wanda’s collection of her favorite paintings.
