My Big Backyard Canopy Celebration – $300

Add $150 for Theme Party activities.

Includes:

  • Garden admission for up to 15 children and 15 adults. $7 for each additional child and $12 for each additional adult.
  • Three hour canopy rental (30 minutes set up, two hours for the party, 30 minutes clean up)
  • Free play exploration in our 2 ½ acre children’s garden
  • One on-hand Garden host
Guest House Birthday Party – $400

Add $150 for Theme Party activities.

Includes:

  • Garden admission for up to 15 children and 15 adults. $7 for each additional child and $12 for each additional adult.
  • Three hour Guest House rental (30 minutes set up, two hours for the party, 30 minutes clean up)
  • One Garden birthday host to greet guests at the Guest House and lead a Garden craft project
  • Free play exploration in our 2 ½ acre children’s garden
  • Tables, chairs, and craft mats

Themed Birthday Parties

Add a theme to your canopy or Guest House birthday party!
$150 Add-On

Includes listed activities for up to 15 children and 15 adults. $10 for each additional child and $12 for each additional adult.

Theme parties must be added a minimum of two weeks prior to the party date.

Dino-Mite Party-Saurus
Stomp on over and journey back in time! Decorate your own dinosaur puppet, make a “lasting impression” by creating a prehistoric fossil, and plant a souvenir your herbivores will love.

Royal Party
Your guests will feel like royalty pretending to be a prince or princess. Decorate your own jewelry or treasure box, royal scepter, and crown!

Pirate Adventure
Ahoy Matey! Create your own pirate hat, then join your friends on a Treasure Hunt! Decorate your treasure box and fill it with newly discovered loot!

Jungle Journey
Be an official Jungle Explorer! Decorate your own adventure hat, then safari through the Garden. Afterward, you and your friends will plant and take home your own tropical plant!

Flower Power
Have a groovy time at this party as you make a psychedelic tie-dyed t-shirt. Each participant will also decorate a “peace” pot and plant some far-out flower seeds!

All birthday parties and special events in My Big Backyard are by reservation only.

Groups wishing to picnic must do so in the Pine Grove picnic area or other suitable location in the Garden.

Yes, all birthday parties require a non-refundable deposit of $100. This is applied to the total balance due.
We do NOT allow balloons, glitter, or confetti. No petting zoos or bounce houses are allowed. Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages are allowed.
Children MUST be supervised in the Garden and restrooms at all times. A 1:2 adult:child ratio is recommended.
All parties are scheduled for 2 hours. In addition, you receive 30 minutes before and after the party for setup and clean-up.

For all parties, you provide your own outside food, decorations, plates, cups, etc. Outside food, such as pizza, sandwich trays, etc. are permitted.

Any catering company or outside vendor must be on our list of approved caterers/vendors.

No. There are no Member discounts for Birthday Parties.

No. Your rental includes up to 15 children and 15 adults.

Birthday parties at the Garden help benefit educational programming.
