Drop by our Exploration Station on the second Saturday of each month from May through October for a drop-in activity designed to get your kiddos outside & exploring the great outdoors.

Free with Garden admission. No reservation is necessary. Canceled if raining.

May 11: Go Public Garden Days – Celebrate Go Public Garden Days with us! Children can plant a flower to take home. Learn more about the American Public Gardens Association.
June 8: National Get Outdoors Day – Join us on the Great Lawn for family-friendly games and good times!
July 13: Bloom-stravaganza – Have you seen our new botanical display, Parade of Color at the Garden? Enjoy the blooms while you make your own Kool Flower to take home.
August 10: Bee Happy – Learn all about pollinators as the Garden bursts with summer color.
September 14: A Breath of Plein Air – Let our seasonal beds, Parade of Color at the Garden, be your muse as you try out painting en plein air (painting outside).
October 12: Flower Power – Join us at the Garden for some classic nature creations. We’ll use colorful leaves & flowers as our medium to make bookmarks.
