“It’s the Little Things: Moments of Awe in the Memphis Botanic Garden is a culmination of many visits to the Memphis Botanic Garden during the pandemic. A true place of refuge, spending time amongst the Garden’s smallest residents allowed me to take deep, much-needed breaths. Connecting to the natural world, the interactions captured in these photographs are moments of awe that are reminders of the wonder that surrounds us. Watching these tiny insects gorging themselves on the bounty of the garden brought a smile to my face, and I hope it does yours.”
Jennifer Kollath is a museum and archives professional and self-taught photographer. She enjoys taking advantage of the vibrant arts, music, and cultural offerings around her adopted home of Memphis with her husband and two children.
