Fall Plant Sale

October 7 & 8, 9 am-5 pm

Join us on October 7 & 8 from 9 am-5 pm for the Fall Plant Sale at the Garden! Our volunteers and staff can’t wait to help you find the perfect additions to your gardens.

Fall is the perfect time for planting trees, shrubs, and perennials. The sale features a wide variety to choose from as well as fall favorites ready to brighten the autumn landscape, such as mums, pansies, and more. Shoppers can choose from a selection of plants carefully curated for the sale and well-suited to thrive in the Mid-South climate, including many from the Garden’s greenhouses.

Our expert horticultural staff and Master Gardener volunteers will also be on hand at the sale to answer any questions as well as help customers with suggestions about plantings in their own gardens and offer advice on plant care and maintenance.

All proceeds directly support the Memphis Botanic Garden.

The event is free and open to the public, but shopping entry is only guaranteed with an advanced reservation on October 7. MBG Members will have first dibs on shopping entry time slots beginning Tuesday, September 13. The reservations open to the general public on Friday, September 16. Those without reservations may have to wait until capacity allows additional shoppers on October 7. There are no reservations needed to shop on Saturday, October 8.

More than just Nursery Plants
Three outside vendors will also be on-site for specialty items to add to your garden. Attendees can purchase a new birdhouse or garden sign by Don Warmbrod to entice new friends to their outdoor oasis. Southern Cultured Orchards & Nursery will have a selection of heirloom, native, and exotic fruit trees available. Spirit Hill Maple Nursery will also be on-site, which specializes in popular & rare cultivars of Japanese Maples. Don’t miss these extra-special selections while you’re here!
